Dear AAAS Members,
I wanted to provide another update regarding delivery of your Science journals. As the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to spread, we are experiencing more impacts to how we deliver both the print and the digital journal. Thank you for your patience as we continue to work internally and with our vendors to address issues as they arise.
Digital Delivery – For our members that receive the digital version of the journal, it will be delivered at the normal time early Friday morning ET. When it is initially released you will only have one viewing option – the Page View. We expect to have the Reading View available later in the day. We apologize for this unfortunate delay caused by government mandated business closures.
Print Delivery – We have learned that additional countries will either see delayed or suspended delivery of their journals. We will be reaching out via email to the impacted members to let them about this. For these members, we will also be delivering the digital version of the journal.
Countries impacted: Bolivia, Botswana, Cayman Islands, Chad, Colombia, Cyprus, Djibouti, Ecuador, Fiji, French Polynesia, Honduras, India, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Madagascar, Maldives, Moldova Republic, Mongolia, Montenegro, Myanmar, Nepal, New Caledonia, Panama, Peru, Philippines, Samoa, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Suriname, Tunisia, and Zimbabwe.
If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to our MemberCentral Support Team at: membership@aaas.org.
In addition, all members may keep up with the latest news about the coronavirus and other breakthroughs in Science by via your online access to Science.
Stay well,
Joanne
