Attend AAAS' flagship annual science policy conference event- The 49th Forum on S&T Policy will gather in person October 22-24, 2025 in the Washington, D.C. Region with pre-conferences at AAAS Headquarters and two full days of sessions at the Hyatt Bethesda. The event will feature a combination of keynote speeches, panel discussions, breakout sessions, and interactive workshops to foster meaningful dialogue and collaboration among participants.
This event is designed for policymakers, researchers, scientists, industry professionals, science journalists, and stakeholders invested in the implementation and regulation of science policy. Participants will depart with not only a deeper understanding of the potential in science policy but also with practical strategies and actionable insights to address these challenges in their professional endeavors.

We’re thrilled to work with Elevate Strategies to tackle these exact issues and empower you to take action in simple and aligned ways. Political strategists, Gabi Finlayson and Jackie Morgan from Elevate Strategies, will lead a hands-on workshop that breaks down how local power works — and how you can use your voice to shape the community around you. All adults age 18+ are welcome. We’ll meet on Tuesday, April 22 at the Lone Peak Indoor Pavilion in Sandy. Doors open at 6:30 pm and the presentation begins at 7 pm.
