We have two programs where high school students work on creating solutions to real-world problems:
- Emerging Innovators Research Program
- Innovation Club
When students identify the area of their focus for these two programs, I encourage them to speak/interview the professionals. These interviews are usually about 1 hour long and sometimes a second follow-up interview would be nice. So, total mentoring time is about 1 to 2 hours with a team or individual student.
We are very flexible in scheduling this time with professionals, and students are very thoughtful in preparing ahead and will do their due diligence prior to speaking with the professionals.
I would like to have a list of professionals ready for future needs.
