The LSEN Community Learning Forum continues with the next session in its webinar series of skill-building trainings designed to help STEMM professionals apply scientific information effectively at the local level. This month's session builds on June's conversation about building relationships with policymakers and focuses on how those connections can be carried into impactful meetings with decision-makers. 

Led by Dr. Rachel Owen, this interactive training will explore how Congress' August summer recess is a prime opportunity for connecting with policymakers. Participants will learn how meetings with policymakers differ by government level, what factors contribute to an effective meeting, and how to tailor messaging to ensure they resonate across different contexts.
