Science serves society best when it is rooted in community. To support AAAS Members and other STEMM professionals in making local impact, the AAAS Office of Membership is excited to announce that the Local Science Engagement Network (LSEN) is launching regional communities for STEMM professionals – particularly for those who may not have a local LSEN network in their area
The new regional groups include the West Coast, Southwest, Northeast, Midwest, and Southeast, and are designed to provide a vital space where you can build relationships within your geographical area, share resources, and collaborate on projects, and engage in community-driven efforts.
Beyond the regional discussion groups, LSEN has active networks in Puerto Rico, Western North Carolina, and West Virginia. Professionals from these regions are still welcome to join those communities, in addition to participating in the new regional communities. Whether you're looking to build connections locally or expand your regional activities, LSEN is the platform for fostering collaboration and strengthening communities.
