This month we're focusing on mental health awareness.!
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimates that 1 in 5 adults experience at least one mental health condition every year. It's hard to deny, then, that we need to be making mental health awareness more of a personal and national priority.
Because there tends to be a significant stigma attached to anything related to mental health, it's absolutely essential that we acknowledge good mental health efforts and work to overcome the barriers that have been established that prevent us from addressing mental health in a positive and productive way.
This month's questions:
What are some of the ways by which you monitor and maintain your overall mental health?
How can you best address your mental health needs?
How can you best address the needs of your colleagues, coworkers, family members, and loved ones?
How can we all best address the mental health needs of our communities and your society?
