Hi Keith,
Thank you so much for your interest in the AAAS Local Science Engagement Network, and for your long-standing membership and engagement with AAAS. It's great to hear you'll be attending the 2026 Annual Meeting in Phoenix.
The LSEN Northeast community does not currently operate as a physical, place-based network. Instead, it serves as a virtual space where STEMM professionals interested in community engagement can connect with others in their region. Through this space, participants have opportunities to connect with peers, share knowledge, and exchange resources.
I'd be happy to discuss this further and answer any questions you may have about LSEN and how the Northeast community functions. Please feel free to reach out to me directly at bhudson@aaas.org, and we can coordinate a time to connect by phone if helpful.
I will also be at the AAAS Membership booth during the Annual Meeting and would be happy to connect in person. We will also have LSEN liaisons attending the meeting, and I'd be glad to help connect you with them as well.
Thank you again for your interest, and I look forward to connecting.
Best regards,
Briana

I'm a now-retired industrial biochemist, former Rohm and Haas and DuPont employee, then consultant. In Wilmington, DE
Career-long member of AAAS and going to the national meeting in Feb. 2026 in Phoenix.
Can I talk to someone experienced in AAAS NE LSEN, before I join? On phone. Who runs this group?
thanks, best regards
