Are you a STEMM professional looking for ways to participate in civic engagement? The Local Science Engagement Network is growing and looking for local leaders!
AAAS has launched a nationwide effort to mobilize scientists and engineers through local and state-based networks across the U.S. to effectively engage with their communities, elevating the visibility of and trust in science while building and satisfying the demand for scientific evidence that addresses needs, solves problems, and informs state and local decision-making.
We are recruiting LSEN Liaisons who will get valuable training and experience in science communication, civic engagement, network leadership, and advocacy. By the end of their training, Liaisons will have the skills needed to foster and lead local networks in building relationships with influential civic, community, business, and policy leaders.
