Hi everyone,
I wanted to share an upcoming briefing that may be of interest.
The AAAS Center for Scientific Evidence in Public Issues (EPI Center), in partnership with the Council of State Governments and the Great Lakes Legislative Caucus, is hosting a virtual briefing on The Economics of Data Center Growth. The session will explore how the rapid expansion of data centers across the U.S. is shaping economic development while also raising important considerations related to energy, water, and infrastructure planning.
Experts will discuss revenue generation, job creation, regional differences in infrastructure impacts, and approaches for building cross-sector collaborations to support responsible data center growth.
