Join us for an exciting Science Writing & Blogging Workshop led by Sophia Friesen, an experienced science writer and communicator. This workshop will explore how to translate complex scientific ideas into compelling, reader-friendly writing effectively.

About Our Speaker:
Sophia Friesen is currently a Research Communications Manager for the University of Utah Health. They have extensive science writing and communication experience, including their work as an AAAS Mass Media Fellow for North Carolina Public Radio, a writer for Massive Science, and a writer, designer, and editor of the Berkeley Science Review. They bring a wealth of experience in crafting engaging science communication pieces and will share insights into effective storytelling and blogging strategies.
