The Pacific Division of AAAS in partnership with SIGMA Xi, The Scientific Research Honor Society, is organizing a MOVING ON FROM COVID-19 virtual forum with a particular emphasis on students of science presenting their future career and research plans.
Knowing that many students have been frustrated by Covid-19 restrictions, we specifically seek to engage all students of science in an interactive conversation about their future research, career plans and objectives. Participants will present those plans through a 3-5 minute descriptive video of their own creation (supporting information will be provided). These videos will be available for viewing on-line starting July 16th with the last two days of the forum, July 24th and 25th, devoted to virtual real-time collaborative mentoring sessions with fellow students, science experts, and representatives of scientific research institutions and organizations.
Applications will be open May 1st.
