Early career researchers! Build your public engagement skills with this free virtual training

Early career STEM professionals, students, postdocs and other trainees, build your public engagement skills by participating in a free virtual training hosted by Section Y! This 90-minute Zoom workshop, led by expert staff from University of Utah’s STEM Ambassador Program, will help you learn strategies for engaging effectively with your community, lawmakers and other members of the public. The trainer will guide you in determining how you can be most effective at public engagement, by helping you create an individualized “Impact Identity” based on your personal and professional interests, experiences, and backgrounds.
