The U.S. administration recently shared an initial look at its fiscal year 2027 budget request, which once again threatens federal investments in research and development. But these proposed cuts are not final. Join staff from the AAAS Office of Government Relations to learn more about the administration’s initial budget figures and what we can expect for the budget process in a midterm election year.
